As a responsible corporate citizen for over 20 years and a manufacturer since 1992, Head Office Group recognizes the importance of sustainable development, with a commitment to the environment and healthy workplaces. To achieve sustainable development, Head Office Group gives careful consideration to the selection and use of raw materials, energy usage (both primary and secondary) longevity, waste management and recycling. Head Office Group also requires the same level of environmental management and sustainability from our suppliers. For a Healthy Workplace, no hazardous materials or prohibited substances are used in the manufacture of Head Office Group’s products, contributing to overall indoor air quality. On environmental issues, our QUAD, ZONE and sixty 6 workstation products has been third party certified by Good Environmental Choice Australia, as “environmentally preferable products in their class, having design and manufacturing attributes which directly reduce the environmental load associated with using a product of this type in comparison to like products available on the Australian market”. The Green Building Council of Australia recognizes this certification and will award our QUAD, ZONE and sixty 6 products with the maximum points for the workstation category of the Office Interiors Green Star rating tool. Head Office Group has a commitment to continually improving work practices and product design to minimise our impact on the environment. |
